Introduction Pascal control unit model HCF(%)(hereunder HCF called) is a hydraulic control unit controlled by electrical ‘operation , and consists of Pascal Pump model HPH6300, @Pascal valve, @Pascal pressure switch, @Oil tank. This manual covers the explanation on specifications, dimension for the Pascal Control Unit, In regard to components, refer to the attached manual of each model for the details. The following signal words are used in this manual to indicate the possible danger when misuse of HCF (2%). ZX Caution Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury or damages to the mac! Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, when improperly handled, may result in minor or moderate damages to the machine. Troubles occurring from non-compliance to these points shall be judged not liable to us. Other equipment manuals shown table 1.1 are attached in this manual. PIM-GE-026E / REV.1 2007.10 Instruction manual 3. Operation (1) Install model HCF to specified position with mounting bolts (2) Connect the hydraulic port of model HCF and hydraulic Cylinder with hose. ZX CAUTION ‘Check and confirm that the joint parts is not loose and that there is no damage in hoses. Due to hydraulic pressure, joint may be detached or oil may scattered from broken hose. Further, operators may be slipped off or oil may come into their eyes. ‘The hydraulic equipment hose, joint should have a higher rating than the pressure you apply. (3) Stop the primary Air pressure source to model HCF. (Factory compressor etc.) (4) Connect the Air supply port HCF and primary air source hose, (6) Check that working fiuid level is to upper limit of oil gauge. If Oil is shortage, replenish it to upper limit. (6) When turning select air supply vaive to “OPEN” , Pump is operated (7) When turning on the stop valve (clamp side), the oil is discharged, Adjust the discharge hydraulic pressure by the air regulator. (8) When turing off the stop valve (unclamp side), the oil discharge is stopped. The oil is returned by the return force of the hydraulic actuator, (9) Bleed air in the piping circuit. (refer to “5. Air bleeding of pump) 4. Caution in use (1)Working fluid Refer to “ANNEX L) WORKING FLUID LIST”. (2) Oil levet Make sure that ol level is between H.L. (higher LIMIT) and L.L (lower LIMIT). §\ CAUTION ‘When supplying oil, make HCF unit to unclamp condition. Hfyou make unctamp condition, Oil may exceed the tank capacity and overflow from reservoir Tank Piease do not it (3) Air pressure ‘Supply the clean air. ‘Setting pressure of air regulator is as follows. Hydraulic circuit— 0.47MPa (Pascal pump HPH6308 series use) / (Hydraulic pressure (24.5MPa} Ar pressure gauge tends to be out of order due to vibration. Close the stop valve of air supply line to let air pressure into 0 MPa and make sure that air pressure gauge indicates 0 MPa exactly. IN-GE-026E / REV.1 2007.10 Instruction manual 5. Air bleeding of pump 5.1 Case Air bleeding must be performed at the following cases, If bubbles are mixed into the working fluid, the pump works without oil discharge. First operation of a new pump. Suction of air from the suction strainer due to low level in the oil tank Operation of pump after long interval(Over 1 month), Aeration of the working fluid due to imperfection of air bleeding in hydraulic circuit such as tubing, valve and other equipment’. (In case of above , change the oil or leave it for ong time to disappear.) 5.2 Procedures of Air-bleeding (1) Air bleeding must be performed in accordance with the following procedure, after piping (2) Loosen the fiting of the pump P-port. (3) Set the air pressure at 0.2~0.3MPa by a pressure regulator and start the pump. (4) Repeat loosening and tightening the fitting of P-port , when the pumping stops during tightening the fiting, conclude air bleeding, 6. Daily and periodical inspection 6.1 Daily inspection Oil level / Air pressure / Hydraulic pressure 6.2 Periodical inspect 6.2.1 Oil leakage Make sure that pump does not work after hydraulic pressure rises to rated pressure. If the pump still pumps within one-minute interval, oil leaks somewhere in hydraulic circuit, If the pump still pumps within one-minute interval , oil leaks somewhere in hydraulic circuit 6.2.2 Oil condition inspection Change the oil at need according to the deterioration of the oil Refer to" ANNEX 0 WORKING FLUID LIST * for the working fluid. 6.2.3 Air condition inspection Make sure that the air is clean and air setting pressure is right. Trouble shootings to setting pressure. Trouble ‘Cause Remedy Pump does not work. No air supply Refer to instruction manual of Low air pressure. HPH6300 series. Pump does not stop. Incomplete air bleeding of the Refer to instruction manual of pump. HPH6300 series, Pump stops before rising | Low air setting pressure. Rise air pressure to setting pressure, Pump repeats stopping and starting after rising to setting pressure Oilleakage in the hydraulic circuits. Check the leakage place. Change seals or tighten fitings. ‘Clamp does not unclamp even turing off the ‘operation valve, Pascal valve does not work due to low air setting pressure.
