Module Name Prepare spread sheet Module No M - 03

1. Create the worksheet as bellow and format the table as given merge cells, change font size,
align, time format, underline and bold where it is necessary.

2. Add the following fields to the excel database.

Allowances, No pay, Gross Salary, EPF, Salary Advance, Total Deduction and Net Salary.

3. Data validate in Allowances field as enter value less than 5000.


4. Enter same data to the field of Allowances, No Pay and Salary Advance.
5. Do the following calculations;
• Gross Salary = (Basic Salary + Allowances) – No Pay
• EPF = 10% of the Gross Salary
• Total Deduction = EPF + Salary Advance
• Net Salary = Gross Salary – Total Deduction
6. Give a Salary Increment based on grade.
• Grade is B give 10% and Grade is C give 8% increment.
7. Change the format of all numeric fields into two decimal and add Rs.
8. Sort the work sheet according to the Department.
9. Apply conditional format as follows;
• Should be cell color is Green, where the Basic Salary is greater than 19000.
• Should be cell color is Red, where the Basic Salary is less than 15000.
10. Using the advanced filter, filter the Employee who is work in TR and grade is C.
11. Create a Column chart in new chart sheet to show the all Numerical fields.
