Week 2

Context:

On my second week as student teacher a lot of happening this the last day of
my assigned in grade 1 matibay section, A lot of memories in that section
being part to teach all of the grade 1 students usually in reading facilitating
in terms of activities give to them . I include as part of my week 2 is my first
demo on February 3 , 2025 in the morning it’s such mix emotions that I feel
in that day because this is my first demo, but I prepared on that time . My
Cooperative teacher was told me to relax and be ready .

Experience:

My experience in my 2nd week is very not easy even assessing the student
who didn’t fluent in reading it’s been have a patience to understand and to
teach them different techniques to easy then or cope to read exactly, it’s
been part of my experience this task because I realised being a Teacher you
need to one on one reading season to teach them in reading. Apart from that
on my first demo experience it was very successful, I thought it would not be
best demo but the results it’s was very successful. The learner’s had learn
from my teaching that day , it was very nice to hear and very nice memory.
Imagine they are very competitive in my discussion and even any of activity
they are very easy to learn what I discussed. That time it’s nice moment that
I’ve do as a student teachers after that demo my Cooperative teacher
noticed my effort and she very like my demo and give me a highest rating
and she proud on me that I am ready and I have learned from her what she
told on me .

Reflection:

In my 2nd week as a student teachers it’s was very successful at the moment
at the same time overwhelming, because it’s being had a good feedback on
my first demo and a good rating it was feeling warm full. Because of my
students i achieved those
My one week of teaching internship was always I say very challenging yet
exciting as I become a future educator one thing I must keep on my mind is
to have a long patience , extra effort, understand there different attitude in
handling diverse children. Imagine I’m handling 26 pupils it so very hyper,
aside from that always prioritize the need and teach them everyday the
children one thing you must consider is their different learning , different
attitude and patience to understand the intelligence of the students they are
not all perfect or intelligent there’s a students need their attention to teach
them everyday to have improvement, specially in reading to maintain there
improvement.

Action:

Within this week, I plan to evready day has session in reading since not
everyone good in reading and also in proper writing. Introduce as always the
alphabet letters and sounds of everyday , being observant on the class be
attentive to their asking questions . When they check their output you must
consult them what they are wrong so that they are aware what there
mistake. I want to develop new teaching strategies that maybe could help to
enhance their capability and engagement within the class.

Evaluation:

To summarize my one week teaching internship, it’s successful handling my


students there attitudes, facilitate on my discussion and listening them.
They are more lively and attentive when i teach them a passion of being a
teacher is bringing me in the future all the strategies and learnings from this
week I will teach in the future of my students. Overall it’s was great
experience and a lot of joyful moments .
