1.Once there was a young Idu boy. He had no family except for an old cat. Each day the boy and his
cat walked many miles, looking for a home. Each night they curled up together and slept. But one
starry evening, the old cat died. The boy buried his friend next to an icy stream. Then he sat under a
tree and cried. What would he do? He had no family and no home. The boy cried for a very long
time. Suddenly, the sky filled with bright light. The boy held his breath. He was afraid to move. One
bright star fell to the ground. Slowly, the star took the shape of the old cat. It bent the head and
drank from the stream. It looked at the boy and smiled. As she jumped back into the sky, bits of the
cat‟s fur fell. As the Sun began to rise, the boy picked up the soft, warm fur. It glowed in his hands

finished jumping all over the moon, I would fly to Saturn and travel around Saturn's beautiful rings.
On my way to Saturn, I would try to avoid a number of asteroids. Asteroids are large pieces of rocks
and minerals. In my science class, I learned that it would take me almost my entire life to travel to
Pluto. Pluto is the last Planet in our solar system. Because it's so far from our Sun that it is super
cold. I wish I could see Pluto up close.

attention. In prison I was grateful for their company.Indins do not, as a rule, approve of animals as
household pets. It is remarkable that in spite of their general philosophy of nonviolence to animals ,
they are often singularly careless and unkind to them.
Even the cow, that a favoured animal, though looked up to and almost worshipped by
many Hindus and often the cause of riots is not treated kindly. Worship and kindliness do not
always go together .
Different countries have adopted different animals as symbols of their ambition or

England, the fighting cock of France, the bear of old Russia. How far do these patron animals mould
