Alright, Very good.
So what comes in your mind when you heard
the word “rough” and “smooth?”
Anyone?
(Answer may vary.)
“That’s a good guess. Very good. That’s
exactly our topic for
today.”

“Okay, so this is what we call texture in art.

As you can see, they describe this object as
rough, and the other one as soft this is one of Yes ma’am.
the example of texture.”

answers)

“Wonderful job students. I’m proud of you.

Since all of you did well, all of you got 10
points.”

So before we proceed, based from the activity

that we had class, what is the importance of
elements of arts in our daily lives?
Yes, Karabansel? The elements of the arts are present
everywhere, in my opinion, ma'am. For
example, a thing's texture will act as a guide,
allowing you to determine whether it is smooth
or rough. However, the value is a basic tool for
identifying the colors of how dark and bright
they are. Additionally, there is something
important about space that aids in our ability to
C. Abstraction (20 minutes) arrange the objects around us.

“The Activity that you perform earlier are one

of the examples of elements or arts.”

“Let's define in more detail this time. First, let's

talk about the texture.”

The first element is:

Texture

An element of art that refers to the way things

feel, or look as if they might feel if touched.
will you read?

Yes marie.

Yes, it refers to how smooth or rough the

artwork feels.

Next element:

Value
Who will read the second element?
Yes, Argie.

The lightness or darkness of tones or colors.

White is the lightest value; black is the darkest.
The value halfway between these extremes is
called middle gray.

Value means artwork may express lightness or

darkness.

The last element:

SPACE
An element of art by which positive and
negative areas are defined or a sense of depth
achieved in work of art.

Yes, Loi.

Thank you.

Means the emptiness of a spot on an artwork. It

defines the sense of depth or “lalim”

D. Application (15 minutes)

Since you are already learned our lesson let’s

apply your understanding in our lesson.

applying the elements of art and express your
feelings about doing it, with theme: “Nature
Scene Painting” and then present the artwork

“How the elements of art, like texture, space,
and value, influence the way we design and use
everyday objects. Like clothes, furniture or Yes, the elements of art, like texture, space and
buildings?” value, are important in our daily lives because
they make everything we see and use more
functional and beautiful in a way that with
texture helps us feel or imagined how things
might feel, like the softness of a pillow or the
roughness of a brick wall. These elements
