the Lesson
1. 3R’s Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics (Students will read the definition together)
that deals with the sides and angles of a
right-angled triangle.

Trigonometric ratios are the ratios of the


length of sides of a triangle. The basic
trigonometric ratios are sin, cos, and tan,
namely sine, cosine, and tangent ratios. The
six trigonometric ratios are sine (sin),
cosine (cos), tangent (tan), cotangent (cot),
cosecant (cosec), and secant (sec).
2. Activity GROUP ACTIVITY (Good for 5 minutes)

I will group you into 2 groups. And I will


give a set of right triangles (different
sizes) and measuring tools (ruler). The
mechanics of this activity is to measure
the sides of the triangles and label them
as opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse.
