D. LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students shoukd be
able to:
a. Define informational texts in their own words
b. Identify the elements of an informational text
such as a heading and subheadings, diagram,
glossary, bold words and caption;
c. Describe these elements help readers
understand the text better.
