(Why?)
Actually, I prefer going to the library due to the fact that the library learning environment motivates
me so much and it makes me concentrate efficiently on my work. When I’m in the library, I can not
use my telephone or computer to surf the Internet. Specifically, if someone catches me when I’m
playing games in the library, it is so weird and also makes me cringe.
2. What part of your school do you like the most?
In my opinion, the canteen is always the best choice. I enjoy spending time with my friends and
having meals there. I think the cafeteria isn't just a place to go when you're hungry, but also a spot
where my friends and I can stay at school a little longer to talk to each other little bit more.
3. What do you find most interesting about your studies? (Why?)
For me, the most interesting part is conquering challenging exercises in natural science subjects,
especially Maths and Physics. These issues usually take me hours to solve. The feeling I get after
seeing the correct result is incredible, like watching a tree bearing fruit after many hard-working
days.
4. Which is more important to you-the teachers or the other students on your course? (Why?)
When it comes to studying, I think friends are more important. In this era, we have the internet,
AI, and many tools that can help solve problems. Therefore, having peers who can encourage
progress and motivate us in learning might be even more valuable.
5. How much time do you spend studying every week?
I dedicate a significant amount of time to studying, about 70 hours a week, including regular
classes, extra lessons, and self-study. One reason I spend so much time studying is that I’m Asian,
where education is the top priority. In this culture, children aren't expected to do anything else
besides studying, as their parents take care of everything else.
6. Do you study best in the morning or the afternoon? (Why?)
I definitely study best in the morning. Numerous research articles have discussed this topic, and
almost all of them conclude that morning is the optimal time for learning. Before each exam, I
always make an effort to wake up at 4 a.m., which leads to extremely positive outcomes,
especially in subjects that require memorization.
7. Have you always wanted to study this subject/these subjects? (Why/Why not?)
No, it depends on the subjects. For instance, I have always enjoyed English because it helps me
understand lyrical English songs or find documents on the Internet more easily. However, I hate biology
so much, it is not only because my teacher is a boring person but also because it requires memorization so
much while my strength lies in subjects that need critical thinking.
