Sir Lim:

Good Day!

I am writing in response to the complaint filed against me dated August 13, 2024, which I
was notified and received a copy last August 15, 2024.This is regarding an alleged incident in
which I was accused of cursing and uttering bad words against the complainant SORAYDA
PERLADO. I categorically deny the said allegations and would like to make the following
points:

1. I did not curse or utter bad words against the complainant. I admit that I raised my
voice during the argument because the complainant was the one who was shouting
and uncontrollable despite of my effort pacifying the heated argument between her
and my sibling.

2. The alleged incident was not reported and recorded in the barangay incident/ blotter
report record book because it did not happen.

3. The complainant made these accusations as a form of retaliation for the complaint
that I and my siblings filed against her and his son in the barangay dated July 22,
2024 (see attached copy).

4. To show our willingness to settle any misunderstanding, I and siblings signed an


amicable settlement in the barangay dated July 23, 2024 (see attached copy) but to
my surprise, when I asked our punong barangay and brgy. secretary for a copy of the
said amicable settlement, the complainant and her son did not sign the said document
for an unknown reason.

5. I am a respected and responsible member of the community and would never engage
in such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.

I trust that the facts I presented will be taken into consideration and that the truth will
prevail. I hope that this information will help clarify the situation and help resolve the
misunderstanding. I would be happy to discuss matter further or provide additional information if
needed.
