BA Honours (Economics) or Bachelor of Arts in Economics is a 4 year


Undergraduate degree course, pursued by students who aspire to make it
big in Banking and Finance and other major corporate industries.

Economics plays a key role in our everyday life. Studying


economics enables us to understand past, future and current models,
and apply them to societies, governments, businesses and individuals. It
enables the students to understand the economy of a country/world,
businesses, markets and governments, and therefore better respond to the
threats and opportunities that emerge when things change.

Economic issues influence our daily lives. This includes issues


such as tax and inflation, interest rates and wealth, inequality and
emerging markets, and energy and the environment. A broad
subject, economics provides answers to a range of health, social
and political issues that impact households and wider
communities.
This BA Honours (Economics) degree course details assignments,
lectures, examinations, and seminars.
Post completion of BA in Economics course, students can choose to
pursue MA Economics, PhD in Economics or MBA or MCA or MSc

government of Andhra Pradesh notifies the admission process and asks
registration for convener quota of 21 seats. The remaining 9 seats will be in
