A Poem for Little Adventurers

In the jungle, jaguars jump,

Through tall trees, they twist and thump.
Like lightning, they dash and dart,
With a wild and beating heart.

Bouncing bunnies hop and play,

In the jungle, they dance all day.
As bright as stars in the night,
Their laughter fills the air with light.

The river flows like a silver snake,

Winding softly, it starts to wake.
With whispers sweet, it sings a song,
In nature's arms, we all belong.

The Gingerbread Man's Lament

Oh, I’m the Gingerbread Man, so sweet and so spry,

But I’m feeling like sad, oh me, oh my!

I ran from the oven, so warm and so bright,

But now I’m alone in the cold, dark night.

I dashed past the baker, I leaped with delight,

But the fox came a-calling, oh what a fright!

“Run, run, as fast as you can!” I did flee,

But now I just wish I could sit by a tree.

With icing and gumdrops, I once was so grand,

But now I’m just crumbs, oh, isn’t it bland?

So if you see me, please lend me a hand,

For I’m just a lost cookie in this lonely land.

The Enchanted Garden

In a small village, there was a hidden garden filled with colorful flowers and sparkling
butterflies. This was no ordinary garden; it was enchanted! A kind fairy named Bella lived
there, with shimmering wings and a gentle smile. Bella loved to help the plants grow and
make the garden beautiful.

One day, Bella noticed that the flowers were wilting. “Oh no! I need to find the magic water
to save them!” she exclaimed. Bella set off on a quest to find the water, flying over hills and
through the woods.

Along the way, she met a clever little fox named Felix. “I can help you find the magic
water!” said Felix, his eyes shining with excitement. Together, they traveled to the Crystal
Lake, where the magic water flowed.

When they arrived, they saw that the lake was guarded by a grumpy old turtle named Tilly.
“To pass, you must answer my riddle,” Tilly said. Bella and Felix listened carefully and
worked together to solve the riddle. With a smile, Tilly let them through.

They filled a jar with the magic water and hurried back to the garden. Bella sprinkled the
water on the flowers, and they bloomed brighter than ever! The garden was saved, and Bella
learned that friendship and teamwork can solve any problem.

Dear Cousin,

Hi! This is me Leo, and I live in a small town called Sunnyvale. It’s a place where the sun
shines bright, and the flowers bloom all year round. I wanted to tell you about my life here
and how different it is from yours in the big city!

In Sunnyvale, I spend my days playing outside with my friends. We ride our bikes, climb
trees, and have picnics in the park. The air smells sweet, and the birds sing beautiful songs. I
love the sound of laughter and the feeling of the warm sun on my face.

I know you live in a busy city with tall buildings and lots of people. I can only imagine how
exciting it must be! Do you have a favorite place to visit? I bet there are many fun things to
do, like going to museums or watching street performers.

Sometimes, I wish I could visit you and see all the amazing things you talk about. But I also
love my home here in Sunnyvale. It’s peaceful and full of nature. I hope you can come to
visit me one day, and we can explore the woods together!

Take care, and write back soon!

Emily's Address

789 Oak Avenue

Springfield, IL 62701

April 15, 2023

343 Northview Avenue

Hampshire , IL 73456

Dear Manager,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Emily, and I am writing to express my
dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your restaurant, The Cozy Corner, on April 10,
2023.

During my visit, I encountered several issues that I believe need to be addressed. First, the
service was extremely slow. I waited over 30 minutes for my order, and when it finally
arrived, my meal was cold. Additionally, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful,
which made the experience even more frustrating.

I have always enjoyed dining at The Cozy Corner, and I was disappointed to see such a
decline in service quality. I believe that every customer deserves prompt and courteous
service, and I hope that you will take my feedback seriously.

I would appreciate a response regarding how you plan to improve the situation. Thank you
for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Emily
