Estimate the answers to the following questions:

1. If a watermelon weighs around 3.5 kg, how much would 15 watermelons weigh? 52.5 kg
2. A school bus is about 10 meters long. How long would 12 such buses be when placed end to
end? 120 meters
3. An elephant weighs around 5,000 kg. What would be the total weight of 8 elephants?

4. A book has a height of 25 cm. How tall will a stack of 20 such books be? 500 cm (or 5
meters)
5. If a brick weighs 2.3 kg, what would be the total weight of 150 bricks? 345 kg

Section B: Comparing Weights and Sizes

Solve the following comparison problems:

6. A bag of rice weighs 10 kg, and a watermelon weighs 4 kg. How many watermelons would
balance the weight of 5 bags of rice? 12.5 (or 13 whole) watermelons
7. A giraffe is 5.2 meters tall, and a tree is 13.8 meters tall. How much taller is the tree than the
