PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR WORK IMMERSION

I. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Project Title:

Tomato Pomodoro AI Companion Robot

2.0 Nature:

Robotics

3.0 Initiating Section/Strand:

STEM

4.0 Total Project Cost:

Php.
II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Tomato Pomodoro AI Companion Robot is a includes an interactive assistant

designed to help consumers/users stay productive using the Pomodoro technique, it also
functions as a small companion to display on tables, computer setup, etc.

Creating the components for the features is the principal part of the project. This
project will integrate Fusion 360 for model selection, model training, and model evaluation.
Instead of 3D printing, the robot’s structure will be designed in Fusion 360 and built using
affordable real-life materials (e.g., plastic casing, recycled components).

The robot will feature:

 Pomodoro Timer with LED/motor reminders
 Basic Voice Reminders (optional pre-recorded messages)
 Mood Indicator (LED color-based reactions)
 Simple Head/Tilt Movement (servo motor-controlled)
 Charging Reminder (LED or sound notification for low battery)

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

With increasing digital distractions, more professionals and students find it difficult to stay
focused and manage time. The Pomodoro method is a proven way to stay productive, but most fail to
have effective reminders or incentives to keep it up. The AI-Powered Pomodoro Companion Robot will
be designed as an engaging, stimulating means by which users will be able to remain on task and
shall also serve as a customized aid to master concentration exercises. It also provides a cheap, do-it-
yourself alternative to costly productivity software. Utilizing Fusion 360 to create the models and
inexpensive real-world materials to build with, this project shall be providing a working, realistic, and
affordable prototype intended for everyday use.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

 Students who need structured study sessions.

 Remote workers & professionals who follow the Pomodoro method.
 Individuals who struggle with time management and focus.
V. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

 To understand Fusion 360 and Eagle in identifying the best approach for designing
the robot's structure and circuitry.
 To gain hands-on experience in 3D modeling (Fusion 360) and PCB design (Eagle) to
refine the prototype.
 To assess the effectiveness, accuracy, and feasibility of the designed models before
real-world implementation.

I thought of a project when I heard you say or ask what project do we want to do, I was too
shy to propose it suddenly so I said, I had to create a plan, kaso mahirap sya considering na may
groupmates din ako, but I proposed a project and researched about this and I hope you give a thought
about it. You also taught us how to efficiently buy a pre-made PCB board for electronics projects, so in
terms of materials, if magkaroon po ng plans about this project, I will purchase the needed materials
not available sa school. We request approval & feedback to ensure its feasibility for the work
immersion program, thank you po Doc Marloun.
