1. Do you prefer to live in the city or the countryside? Why?

Hello teacher, today I will talk about topic 1 Do you prefer to live in the city or the
countryside?
Well, living in both the city and the countryside has its benefits but I want to live in the
countryside. Living in the countryside is really good for many reasons. The air in the
countryside is quite fresh and peaceful, in contrast to the busy, noisy and dusty city.
Because in the countryside there are many trees and no factories emitting harmful
emissions. Next, people in the countryside are very friendly, always ready to help
others and often share what they have with their neighbors. Additionally, rural areas are
safer and less susceptible to theft. Food in the countryside is not only fresh and clean
but also cheap. We can produce our own vegetables, chicken, and fish to eat. In the
countryside there are no traffic jams or dust. It's not too crowded with traffic. And
especially, life in the countryside is slow and leisurely, not rushed like in the city. In the
countryside, people are closer to nature, living in a fresh space. However, in the
countryside it is not as convenient as in the city, there are not many modern equipment,
nor many convenient shopping and entertainment areas. But most of all, life in the
countryside is very comfortable, people are close and help each other, so I love life in
the countryside and maybe because I was born and raised in the countryside, I love life
here and I hope that when I get old I will have a comfortable life in the countryside.

2.What form(s) of mass media that you use every day? Explain how
you benefit from using them.
Today, technology is increasingly developing, through which mass media are also
increasingly diverse and become an indispensable part of people's lives such as books,
newspapers, television, movies, and the Internet. . Mass media plays an extremely
important role, not only as a means of entertainment, helping people update
information and news about events in many different places, but also as a means to help
people. improve knowledge. As someone born during the period of scientific and
technological development, I like to use the Internet. I use the Internet for many
different activities.
First, thanks to the internet, I can connect with the world around me, update the
situation and know what events are going on around me. Next, I use the internet to
study. I can search for many different ways to solve exercises through websites, and I
can also participate in online classes to improve my knowledge. In addition, thanks to
the internet, I can listen to music and watch movies for entertainment. The Internet has
many benefits but also many harms. Young people spend a lot of time on the Internet
without focusing on studying. Spend less time hanging out with friends and family and
just focus on the Internet. Technology has developed, thanks to the Internet, people can
easily access knowledge, but they should not be too dependent on it, otherwise their
thinking will be impaired. The Internet brings many benefits to people, but we must
know how to use it reasonably and correctly, otherwise it will be very harmful.
3.What can you do to make your neighborhood ‘greener’?
It is extremely important to care for the environment to protect ourselves. To protect
the environment, first of all, you need to make the place you live green and clean. To
do that, we must inform everyone so that everyone can join hands to help make the
neighborhood greener, cleaner, and more beautiful. Some solutions and things you can
do to help make your neighborhood greener include encouraging people to put their
trash in the right place, regularly collecting trash, limiting the use of plastic waste, and
prioritizing the use of what can be reused. Planting trees with everyone in the
neighborhood, while creating fresh air and shade, is also a solution to help the
neighborhood become greener. Equip trash bins in many places and encourage people
to participate in trash types. In addition, each family saving energy is also a way to help
the neighborhood become greener, limiting the use of machinery that causes dust and
pollution. In particular, we need to pay attention not to litter into water sources, because
water is essential for humans in particular and creatures in general, so we need to
protect water sources to protect ourselves as well as protect the environment. Those are
some solutions to make the neighborhood greener that I can think of and can
implement.

4.What should young people do to develop their cultural identity in

today’s modern society?
Cultural identity is what people use to identify themselves as part of a culture. The
cultural identity of a person, a country, a people is expressed through language,
costumes, dishes or holidays. Protecting and promoting national cultural identity is
extremely necessary.
First, we must understand and know our own identity to be proud of who we are and
where we come from. By traveling, we can learn about national identity through
festivals, languages, and costumes of the people. Or you can also learn about the
nation's cultural traditions on social networking sites. However, as society increasingly
develops, information sites sometimes provide false information, affecting young
people's cultural awareness and typical costumes of ethnic groups in some places. is
gradually disappearing, leading to young people not knowing where the costume
originated from. Or more specifically, young people are following the trend of using
reformed written languages that do not follow traditional languages, causing loss of
cultural identity. Therefore, after understanding and knowing about national cultural
identity, we can propagate to those around us and boycott false information about
national cultural identity. Next, we can also learn about the cultural traditions of other
peoples and countries so that we can exchange and absorb the good things of different
cultural traditions.
In short, maintaining cultural identity is essential. Preserving cultural identity can
ensure the prosperity of a country or community and the cultural diversity of the world.
