Subject: Consultancy Services for Preparation of DPR for Design of Sewage Network
at Dinjan Military station.
Dear Sir,
This is in reference to the discussion had with yourself and the details provided
regarding the subject matter.
We are pleased to submit here our rates as under:

1.0 Consultancy Services for Design of Central Sewage JOB 01 Rs. 13,25,000.00
Network as per provided Topographical Survey and
Building wise Population details by the department of
Approx 600 Acres for finalization of the location of STP Including Taxes
starting from manholes as per the following scope: -

(i) Designing of proposed Sewer network


showing GL/IL & other details as per format.
Feasibility of utilizing existing sewage
infrastructure to be studied. GL & IL of existing
branch lines starting from 1st manhole till it merges
with nearest branch/main line to be analysed for
checking its feasibility from usage of serviceable
existing infrastructure.

(ii) Sewage load of manhole & gravity lines to


be calculated based on bldg (OTM/Md Accn)
occupancy status feeding the manholes. Cumulative
sewage load of branch and main trunk lines to be
calculated and submitted as per format
attached.

(iii) Consultant shall explore feasibility for restricting


No of sewage pumping installation/IPS not more
than 5 Nos.

(iv) Zone wise STPs to be planned and


consultant shall explore feasibility for restricting
No of zones not to be more than 04 Nos.

(v) To conduct raw sewage quality parameter


analysis for proposed Zone separately. Grab sampling
method be done as per IS 3025-1(1987) and its
subsequent amendments.

(vi) DPR shall explore feasibility of Sewage


generated at the farthest area with minimal
quantum of sewage be disposed off through septic
tank and soakage well arrangement to minimize
sewage network complexity and achieve
economy.

(vii) Consultant shall analysis possibility of high


water table during rainy seasons at site &
design/specification of sewage line, manholes, pit
well & STP to be proposed accordingly.

(viii) DPR shall include treated waste water


utilization plan alongwith BOQ and estimate of
necessary infrastructure. Tertiary treatment with
reuse of treated waste water in irrigation/arboriculture
or discharge in nearby natural resources.

(ix) Carrying out Soil Investigation as per


relevant IS codes complete all as specified
and directed including the following: -
(aa) Boring 150mm dia hole at tentative
locations of proposed STPs as per
Topographical source and finalization of zone
wise sewage network in any kind of soil but
excluding rock, collection of undisturbed sample
at every 1.00 mtr depth, collection of disturbed sample
at suitable depth as required at site conducting
standard penetration test as per relevant IS at an
interval of 1.50m as under: -

(ab) Upto depth 10m bore holes

(x) Preparation of detailed BOQ & Estimate


as per SSR 2020 and submission of report.

(xi) Location type design of manholes,


intercepted sump well/lift well.

All above documents to be submitted in Triplicate.

Note: -

(a) Approx. Area- 600 Acre

Note: The co-ordination required at different stages of


consultancy as well as parallel activities required to be
carried out and clearances required from different
policies at different stages will be dealt by Dir E/M, HQ
CE Shillong Zone.
