In the previous module, you were able to grasps various information such as
organizing and manipulating files, working with the internet and some of its
application programs, and many more.
In this module you will be able to learn more about Managing Workbook file.
This is an essential skill that a future employee working in a call center industry
should possess especially in the field of technical support. The steady growth in the
call center industry over the past 10 years has resulted in the effective
management of the all-important human resource. Workforce management in
using spreadsheet with a special calculator to input the center's variables to
ultimate speed.

Save your work frequently. Set up Excel so that it automatically saves your
work at the time interval you choose. If you should lose your work, you may be able
to restore a backup copy of your workbook. You can save your work in other file
formats.

Finding workbooks. The Advanced button command on the File Open Menu

1. From the File menu, select Open and choose Advanced.
2. Find the file that you want to search from the Advanced Find dialog box.

Deleting one or more files. Using your mouse, you can delete Documents
which you no longer need. You must close a document first before you delete.
Steps:
1. From the File menu, choose Open. Excel displays the Open dialog box
2. Select the file you want to delete.
3. Click the right mouse button and choose the Delete command.
4. The Confirm File Delete will appear. Click Yes to confirm for deletion.

Finding Workbooks/Excel (2016)
1. From the Home tab, click the Find and Select command, the select Find
from the drop-down menu.
2. To Find and Replace dialog box will appear. Enter the content you want to
find. In our example, we’ll type the department’s name.
3. Click Find Next. If the content is found, the cell containing that content will
be selected.
4. Click Find Next to find further instances or Find All to see every instance of
the search term.

5. When you are finished, click Close to exit the Find and Replace dialog box.
• You can also access the Find command by pressing Ctrl + F on your
keyboard.
In the File name command in the Open dialog box of the File menu, enter any
of the following to locate your file.

STEPS
1. Choose the button.
Excel displays found files in the Listed Files box. Depending on the
type of file you select, you can see its preview, file information or summary
information.
2. When you finish searching for files, you can now choose the file you want
to open or modify.

Shutting down a computer closes all programs that are open and exits the
operating system safely so hardware isn't damaged, and your operating system isn't
