CLOUD COMPUTING
- The practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, manage,
and process data, rather than a local server or personal computer
- Examples:
Google Drive – keep all work in one secure place with online file storage
Dropbox – keeps your files safe, synced and easy to share

SOCIAL MEDIA
- Are computer – mediated tools that allow people, companies, and other organizations to
create, share or exchange information, career, interests, ideas, and pictures or videos in
virtual communities and networks
- Examples:
Twitter – online social networking service that enable users to send and read

Facebook – is for profit – corporation and online networking services, allows
you to share post, videos, pictures, links, and other multimedia content

WEB PAGE CREATION

- Examples:

- A transformation taking the points of one space into the points of the same or another space
- Example:
Google Map – a desktop web mapping service developed by Google

Content Management Systems (CMS)


 A computer application (sometimes online or browser based) that allows you to publish, edit,
manipulate, organize, and delete web content
 Used in blogs, news websites, and shopping
Blog
 A discussion or informational website published on the web consisting of discrete, often informal
diary – style text entries (“posts”)
 Posts are typically displayed in chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first at
the top the web page
 Examples:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
 The process of optimizing web pages and their content to be easily discoverable by users
searching for terms relevant to your website.
