including google scholar and researchgate. All the relevant papers were thoroughly studied and
finally, conclusions were drawn.

Flow refers to a state of being completely absorbed in an activity. It may be any activity from
work to recreation. Being involved in a task that aligns with the interest of the individual and creates a
sense of fulfillment and contentment in oneself leads to a sense of meaningfulness in one’s life as
well. Understanding how to enter the flow state, and maintain it, therefore, is seen as a great way to
enjoy the activities we get engaged in.

Results and conclusion – The findings demonstrate that being in a flow state positively impacts
one’s productivity, contributing to a sense of achievement, confirming the first hypothesis. Employees
in flow state reported more motivation levels as well. They experience deeper enjoyment and higher

creativity boost.
