2 Tbsp. heavy cream cream)
2-4 Tbsp. sugar ❏ Custard Cup (1-2 Tbsp.

Directions
Get 1 piece of parchment
paper!

1. Whisk flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together in a large bowl.
2. Grate the frozen butter. Add it to the flour mixture and combine with a pastry
cutter until the mixture comes together in pea-sized crumbs.
3. Whisk 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1/2 egg, and vanilla extract together in a
small bowl.
4. Drizzle over the flour mixture, add the add-ins, then mix until everything
appears moist.
5. Pour onto the counter and, with floured hands, work dough into a ball as best you
can. Dough will be sticky. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour. If it seems too
dry, add 1/2 - 1 more Tbsp heavy cream.
6. Press dough into a 5-inch disc and cut into 8 wedges.
7. Place scones on a plate and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
8. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
9. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. After refrigerating,
arrange scones 2-3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
10. Brush scones with heavy cream and for extra crunch, sprinkle with sugar.
11. Bake for 18-25 minutes or until edges are golden & top lightly browned.
12. Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes.
13. Enjoy! 😊
