Experiment 6:- Use Excel Basic Charts for Data

Visualization |Column, Bar, Line, Pie and Area Chart)

1. Column Chart:- A Column Chart is a Chart in Excel that

represents data in vertical columns. The height of the column
represents the value for the specific data series in a chart.
2. Bar Chart:- A bar chart in Excel is a graph that uses horizontal
bars to represent values. It is used to compare data sets or show
changes in data over time.
3. Line Chart:- Aline chart in Excel is a graph that shows data
points connected by lines. I's a simple wav to visualize trends in
data over time.
4. Pie Chart:- A pie chart in Excel is acircular graph that display:s
data as slces of a pie. Each slice represents a categorv's share of

2. Bar Chart:- A bar chart in Excel is a graph that uses

horizontal
bars to represent values. It is used to compare data sets or show
changes in data over time.
3. Line Chart:- A line chart in Excel is a graph that shows data
points connected by lines. It's a simple way to visualize trends in
data over time.
4. Pie Chart:- A pie chart in Excel is acircular graph that displays
data as slices of a pie. Each slice represents a category's share of
the total. Pie charts are a good way to visualize simple statistical
data.
5. Area Chart:- An arca chart in Excel is a graph that shows data
points connected by lines, with the area beneath the lines
shaded. Area charts are similar to line charts, but the area under
the lines is filled in,

Experiment 7:- Use Excel Advance Chartsfor Data

Visualization [Scatter, Bubble, Radar, Waterfall and
Treemap|

1. Scatter Plot or Chart:- It is used to understand the correlation

between two data variables. A dot is used to represent the values
where cach dot represents two values (X-axis value and Y-axis
value). This chart can be used to visualize the trend and relation
between two values over time.

2. Bubble Chart:- A bubble chart is a type of chart in Excel that

displays three-dimensional data using bubbles (circles) on a
two-dimensional graph.
It is similar to a scatter plot but with an additional dimension

two-dimensional graph.
It is similar to a scatter plot but with an additional dimension
represented by the size of the bubbles.
$ In abubble chart, the horizontal and vertical axes represent two
variables, while the size of the bubbles represents a third variable.
This allows you to visualize and analyze relationships between
three sets of data points.

3. Radar Chart:- It is a pictorial representation of multivariate

data.
Multivariate data analysis in statistics is nothing but dealing with
more than one outcome or observations. The variables are
represented on the axis starting from the same points with equal
intervals on the axes.
The number of axes in a radar graph solely depends on the number
of variables used.
4. Waterfall Chart:- A waterfall chart is a data visualization tool
that shows how a starting value changes over time due to a
series of positive and negative values. It's also known as a
cascade or bridge chart.

5. Treemap Chart:- A treemap chart provides a hierarchical view

of your data and makes it easy to spot patterns. The tree
branches are represented by rectangles and each sub-branch is
shown as a smaller rectangle.
