Puppet Show Play Instructions
Objective: Create and perform a puppet show, demonstrating your creativity and
teamwork.
1. Form Your Group:
o Work with your assigned group members (3-5 students per group).
2. Choose or Create a Story:
o Select a story or create an original script for your puppet show. Make
sure the story is engaging and suitable for the format.
3. Plan Your Puppet Show:
o Assign Roles: Decide who will operate each puppet, who will handle
props and costumes, and who will manage the script.
o Make Puppets: Create your puppets using materials like socks, paper
bags, or felt. Decorate them to represent the characters in your story.
o Prepare Props: Gather or make props that will enhance your
performance.
4. Rehearse:
o Practice Your Script: Go over your lines and make sure everyone knows
their parts.
o Work on Puppetry: Practice moving your puppets to match the dialogue
and story. Ensure smooth and coordinated movements.
o Set Up Your Stage: Arrange your puppet stage or curtain. Ensure it’s at
a suitable height and allows enough space for puppetry.
5. Perform:
o Final Check: Review your puppets, props, and costumes. Do a final
rehearsal to ensure everything is ready.
o Perform: Present your puppet show to the class or audience. Use
expressive voices and movements to bring the story to life.
6. Reflect:
