How-to guide: Partner Sandbox Licenses

We’ve made it easier for ISV Connect partners to obtain Partner Sandbox Licenses
for testing, internal training, and end-to-end customer demos.

Introduction
Get started with Partner Sandbox Licenses to access non-production, sandbox environments where you can
develop, test, and demo your solutions to customers. In this how-to guide, review the key actions required to
correctly fill out and submit a request for a Partner Sandbox License.

Fill out the form


1. To get started, navigate to the Partner Sandbox
License Request portal.
2. Fill out the request form by including your First
Name, Last Name, Email, Job title, Organization,
MPN ID, and Tenant ID. You must be enrolled in
the ISV Connect program and have a valid MPN ID
to be eligible to request Partner Sandbox Licenses.
3. Select the Promotional Offer choice that you qualify
to receive (radio button).*
a. For each app you have published in
AppSource, you may redeem one free Test
Drive promotional offer. To redeem this promotional offer, go to the Comments text box and
include the name of your app on AppSource.
b. ISV Connect partners who meet specific solution value thresholds can redeem a promotional
offer for additional free Partner Sandbox Licenses (see FAQ for more information).

* If you qualify for multiple promotions, please submit multiple requests.

Choose from our list of licenses


1. Select the appropriate promotional offer.
2. Select the View SKUs link for a list of available
licenses with associated pricing, requirements,
capability, availability, and prerequisites.
3. Select the empty field under License to open a
drop-down menu of the available SKUs.
4. Scroll through the drop-down menu and select
one of the items to add it to the Licenses text box.
5. To add multiple licenses to the request form, open
the drop-down menu and select a new item. The
new license will be added to the Licenses text box.
Note: If you have selected more than one license and are eligible for a free license(s), your free license(s) will be the
item with the higher value. Only multiple SKUs can be requested within the same program offer.

Submit
When you’re ready, select Submit to complete the form and send
your Partner Sandbox License request to Microsoft. Completing
this web form is the only action required for you to submit your
request for a Partner Sandbox License.

After submitting your request


Once you have submitted the request form, Microsoft will review your eligibility. If additional information is
required, we will reach out to you via email for the additional details.

Allow up to three business days for Microsoft to review and respond to your request.
