➢ The event helps in translating complex data into visual formats, making it easier to
understand and interpret.
➢ Visualizations can effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, making it easier to
convey key points quickly and clearly.
➢ To give exposure for participants on revealing patterns and trends, data visualizations
support more informed and strategic decision-making.
➢ To make students understand well-designed visuals can capture attention and engage
audiences more effectively than raw data or text alone.
➢ Visualization can help in identifying issues, anomalies, or opportunities within the data
that might not be immediately apparent.
Summary of the Event:

Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organized an “Data


Visualization” on 02.08.2024 at KPRCAS from 12.00 A.M--1.00 P.M.
❖ Dr Harvin Kaur, Assistant Professor, School of Engineering, MALAYSIA acted as a
resource person.
❖ Purpose and Importance of the event is to understand the need and usage of data
visualization in our routine.
❖ Students understood about data visualization and how to make a graphical representation
of data.
❖ Also, they learnt how to make dashboards, graph, pie charts and etc.,
❖ The principle effects of data visualization like Accuracy,Clarity,Relevance,Consistency
are clearly demonstrated.
❖ Participated in a Q&A session for personalized advice and troubleshooting.
❖ Around 55 students participated and gained knowledge.

Outcome of the Event:


● Participants grasped the fundamental principles and importance of data visualization.

● Participants will develop skills to analyze data and identify key patterns, trends, and
insights through visual representation.

● They will be able to design and implement effective visualizations based on real-world
data.

● They will understand how to translate complex data into clear and actionable visual
formats.
