REPORT OVERVIEW

This report is basically an account of the knowledge and experience acquired during the Students

Industrial Work Scheme (SIWES) program, held at the GOVERNMENT HOUSE CLINIC ABAKALIKI,

EBONYI STATE. This training lasted for a period of six months (June, 2022 to December, 2022).

SIWES is a program designed for students in the higher institutions of learning to acquire practical

experience in their various fields of study. During the six months industrial attachment, I was privileged

to work in the hematology and microbiology laboratory, where I learnt extensively during these periods

by participating and observing all the experiments being carried out. These activities were carried out on

human body fluid mainly blood (plasma and serum).
