1 General Guidelines
1.1 Students have to be in continuous contact with their faculty guides either in person,
by email, or over the phone to update the progress of their work. The students have
to submit their proposal and progress reports through email in the enclosed formats
within the stipulated time. Additional sheets can be used to fill in the details
wherever necessary.
1.2 Students have to ensure that their email ids and contact details are available with
their faculty guides.

4. Schedule: A time frame indicating steps that will be required and the expected
work completion date for each step.
5. A note on the work carried out during the fortnight.

Note: You may use additional sheets if required. Soft copies should be emailed to the respective faculty
guides on or before the stipulated date, as mentioned in the schedule of activities.

In preparing the internship report, utmost attention must be paid to the content, ensuring
that it meets the academic integrity guidelines stipulated in the University’s academic
honesty policy. A standard format is equally important. Please follow the prescribed
format to ensure uniformity in all the reports submitted.
The internship report should be in the following format. The table of contents, along with
page numbers, should be given. There should be a separate contents page for tables and
charts along with page numbers.

Chapter 4: Findings
The findings should be based on and drawn from the critical evaluation, observations,
and data interpretation.
Chapter 5: Recommendations
Recommendations should be based on chapters 3 and 4.
Chapter 6: Conclusion
A one or two-page concluding remarks about the work done.
Annexure
All those relevant to the study, e.g., factual data about the company, data collection tools
used for collecting primary data, etc.
References
The latest APA convention should ideally be followed.

• Submission of the soft copy of the final draft report to the faculty guide for review.
• The faculty guide will revert to the student with the reviewed report.
Having fulfilled all the requirements of the review process as mentioned above, the student
needs to submit the following to the Office of Examinations and Evaluation of the
University.
1. Two1 hard-bound copies of the dissertation report duly signed by your respective faculty
guides.
2. One softcopy of the final report in PDF format is to be emailed to your respective faculty guide
for uploading to the Library’s repository.

For the viva the student needs to carry one hardbound copy (duly signed by the faculty guide) of the report.
