In Morden, Central Manitoba has retained a unique attraction
from the past as home to one of only three remaining drive in
cinemas in the Province. Once a common site on the prairie
landscape, most theatres of this style have since closed.
But Morden’s Stardust Drive-In keeps the traditional of
open-air cinema alive. Located near the Lake Minnewasta
recreation area, the iconic screen is easy to spot from the
highway and presents feature Hollywood blockbusters each
weekend at dusk throughout the summer.
