I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- Gain an overview about reasons for family conflicts.
- Memorize vocabulary to talk about family conflicts.
2. Skills:
- Develop listening skills: listening for the main idea and listening for specific details.
- Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.
- Develop presentation skills.
3. Attitude:
- Be aware of family conflicts.
- Actively join in class activities.
II. MATERIALS:
- Grade 11 Textbook, Unit 2, Listening.
- Computer connected to the Internet.
- Projector / TV.
III. TEACHING PROCEDURES:
ACTIVITY 1: WARM-UP (5 mins)
a. Objectives:
- To stir up the atmosphere and activate students’ knowledge on the topic of the
generation gaps.
- To set the context for the topic of listening part.
