6. Course Overview
Supply Chain Management course is designed to provide learners with the basic
concepts of supply chain, goals of supply chain management, components in the supply
chain and content of supply chain management. This course provides knowledge related to
identifying the role of the supply chain management function in an organization, identifying
the tasks and decisions that a supply chain manager must perform, providing tools to design
supply chain networks, planning supply and demand on the chain, as well as discuss basic
content related to coordination in the supply chain.

8. Students’ Responsibilities
- Well-prepared: Reading materials and doing tasks according to the instructor’s
requirements before coming to class to be more proactive and receptive the lesson and
actively participate in lectures and class discussionding to the content and timetable. Late
assignments will not be accepted and will be given a grade of zero.
- Follow the requirements and deadlines for submission: Submit all the exercises according
to the content and timetable. Late assignments will not be accepted and will be given a
grade of zero.
- Class attendance: you will be expected to come to class on time and regularly. A student
who misses classes for medical illnesses or other proper reasons should inform the
instructor as far as possible in advance of the absence.
