1. Habit
Person 1: Hey, what's your habit?

Person 2: That's an interesting question! One of my habits is traveling. I try to


visit new places whenever I can. It's exciting to explore different cultures.

Person 1: That sounds fun! What do you enjoy most about traveling?

Person 2: I love trying new foods and meeting new people. It's like a big
adventure every time!

Person 1: That's cool! As for me, I enjoy reading. I try to read a book every
night before bed. It helps me unwind and relax.

Person 2: Nice! Reading is a great habit to have.What kind of books do you


like?

Person 1: I'm into mystery and thriller books. They always keep me
entertained!

Person 2: Interesting! Our habits say a lot about us, right?

Person 1: Totally! So, how do you plan your travels?

Person 2: I usually look up interesting places online and then go with the flow.
How about you? How do you keep up with your reading habit?

Person 1: I just make sure to set aside some time each night. It's relaxing.

2. Local park
Person 1: Hey, have you ever been to Tao Dan Park?

Person 2: Yeah, I've been there a couple of times. It's a pretty nice park.

Person 1: Do you know when it was built?

Person 2: Hmm, I think it was built quite a long time ago, maybe in the late
19th century.

Person 1: Wow, that's older than I thought! Do you know how big it is?

Person 2: I'm not exactly sure, but I think it's around 10 hectares or so.

Person 1: That's quite spacious for a park in the middle of the city. What do
you like most about Tao Dan Park?

Person 2: I really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere there, especially in the


morning. It's a great place to relax and unwind.

Person 1: Yeah, I've heard it's a popular spot for locals to practice erobic and
other exercises.

Person 2: That's right! It's also a favorite spot for bird enthusiasts. There's a
bird café where people bring their birds to socialize.

Person 1: That sounds lovely! I'll have to check it out sometime. Thanks for the
information!

Person 2: No problem! Let me know if you want to go together. It's always nice
to have company in the park.

3. An unusual competition
Person 1: Hey, have you heard about that unusual contest happening next
week?

Person 2: No, what contest are you talking about?

Person 1: It's called the "Odd Talent Show." It's all about showcasing really
unusual skills and abilities.
Person 2: Unusual skills? Like what?

Person 1: Well, it's things like hula hooping while balancing on a unicycle or
singing opera while eating spicy foods. Basically, it's a competition for the most
unique talents.

Person 2: Haha, that sounds like it could be fun. Who comes up with these
ideas?

Person 1: I have no idea, but I guess someone out there decided it would be
entertaining to highlight the more offbeat talents.

Person 2: I can imagine! It must attract quite the crowd.

Person 1: Definitely! I mean, who wouldn't want to see someone break the
world record for the longest time spent hopping on one foot while reciting
poetry?

Person 2: Oh wow, that's... oddly specific.

Person 1: there's a cash prize for the winner. Who knew being unique could
pay off?

Person 2: Well, count me in as an audience member. I've got to witness this


spectacle.

Person 1: Same here. Let's just hope we don't end up trying out any strange
talents ourselves after watching all those unusual performances!

Person 2: Agreed. I think I'll stick to something a bit more mainstream for now.

4. AN OUTSIDE ACTIVITY
Person A: Have you ever tried fishing? It's one of my favorite outdoor activities.

Person B: Oh, fishing! I've always been curious about it but never actually tried
it. What do you like most about fishing?

Person A: It helps me relax after a stressful period of studying and working. I


got to see the lake. And very excited when catching fish.

Person B: That sounds amazing. Where do you often go fishing?


Person A: I often fish in a large lake in my village. The water there is very clean.

Person B: Do you have any advice for someone trying fishing for the first time?

Person A: Sure! First, you should learn about local fishing regulations. Patience
is important in fishing, so be prepared to wait. And most importantly, enjoy the
experience and beauty of nature.

Person B: Thanks for the advice! I think I'll try fishing soon.

Person A: You're welcome! I'm sure you will like it.

5. TRANSPORT:
Person A: How do you usually travel?

Person B: I usually take the bus.

Person A: What do you like most about riding the bus?

Person B: It's nice to sit and relax while someone else drives.

Person A: Where do you usually take the bus?

Person B: I use it to go to school every day.

Person A: Are there any other advantages or disadvantages to taking the bus?

Person B: The cost is cheaper than other types of transportation. But I can't
take the initiative in my time.

Person A: So, Do you want to change to another vehicle in the future?

Person B: I'm trying to get a motorbike to make my traveling more convenient.

Person A: I believe you will get it. Thank you.

6. A SPORT YOU LIKE:


A: Hello...! Which sport do you like the most?

B: I like playing futsal.

A: oh, can you tell me about the rules of futsal?


B: Sure! Futsal is also known as mini football. There are 2 teams competing
against each other but each team only has 5 people.

A: Oh, so the duration of a match is 90 minutes?

B:Each match still has 2 halves but each half is only 20 minutes.

A: Is there anything special about futsal anymore?

B:In futsal, players play on wooden or plastic floors. not in the stadium.

And most of the rules of football such as yellow cards, red cards for
goalkeepers to use their hands, etc., are applied in futsal.

A: ooh thank you. I will try playing futsal in the future.
