During this period, 65,62,300 tons of goods were imported and exported.
This included the loading and unloading of 12,083 used containers from 23 container
ships, as well as the unloading of 6,751 reconditioned vehicles from 12 vehicle ships.
Several measures have been taken to increase the number of ships arriving at Mongla
Port during the current fiscal year, according to port sources.
Last but not the least, Chittagong port authority and Mongla port authority are vital for
Bangladesh’s economic growth and international trade. Their efficient operations in
customs clearance, cargo management, global shipments, and documentations are
crucial for facilitating smooth flow of goods.
