PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

This programme is designed to equip learners with fundamental information on the principles,
procedures, terminology, techniques and tools used in the field of purchasing, supply and logistics
management. Current practices are examined, providing learners with up to date knowledge and skills
to operate successfully in various enterprises in areas which include Customs Clearing & Forwarding,
Airfreight Practice, Material Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management and Sales &
Supplier Services
CAREER PROSPECTS
Entrepreneur, Procurement Administration, Procurement Management, Stock or Freight Controller,
Shipping Coordinator, Import Controller, Quality Manager, Fleet Manager, Logistics Officer.

MINIMUM ENTRYREQUIREMENTS
 Grade 12
 NQF level 4 qualification or equivalent
 Experience in the Industry.

PROGRAM DURATION & STRUCTURE


All programs are done over a period of two years made up of four semesters with each semester done
over a period of six months. All programs are available in fulltime/part-time mode. The programs are as
follows:

EXAMINATION BOARD
The Department of Higher Education & Training (TETA) moderates the examinations issued by the
institution.

CERTIFICATION

Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training.(TETA).

ATTENDANCE

A student will only be allowed to write the final examinations upon completion of the Portifolio of
Evidence (POE) and 80% class attendance.

PAYABLE FEES

Registration Fees R500 Once off


Deposit R2500 Once per Academic year
Instalments R1200 10 Instalments per year
Textbooks R1000(5@R200) Once off per semester
Portfolio of Evidence R1600 per year P.O.E will be available at Campus.
NB: College t-shirt, student ID and examination fees are included in the fees.
Please note other payment options are available upon request. Consult the Finance Department.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Please note; assistance to pay fees up to R8000 is available through LETSATSI FINANCING. The
Parent/Guardian must present the following documents for approval:
a. ID Copy
b. 2 months bank statement
c. Latest pay slip
