“Anne knocked on the door. She was determined to know who lived there.”
The reason that Anne was so curious about the new neighbors that had
recently moved into the house, is because she had sighted some peculiar
goings on, especially at night.
During the previous night, she was unable to sleep because Anne had
been engrossed in some revision for her Anatomy and Physiology exam
which she was taking during the following morning and she was extremely
nervous about the exam. As she had finished her revision, she was so
excited about her forthcoming exam, she felt so intense that she still
couldn’t sleep. So Anne decided to stargaze out of her bedroom window
and as her eyes looked on in awe and wonder at the midnight sky, she
was mesmerized by all the constellations that she could see. Then, all of a
sudden and without warning, she was distracted by a loud noise that
came from the neighbor’s garden. BUUMP, BAANG, BUUMP, BAANG and
her eyes then focused on the next door neighbor’s back garden and at the
sight that met her eyes, she was HORRIFIED and SHOCKED to the core.
She actually witnessed, two dodgy looking males, aged around 30 years,
all attired in strange black outfits and it appeared as though they were
carrying dirty old cakets that appeared to have been exhumed from the
local cemetery, but all was not as it seemed and Anne became so freaked
out that she let out a blood curdling fearsome scream. Her screech was so
intense that these two dodgy characters, stopped what they were doing
and looking up they stared daggers at her whilst she was stood watching
them through her window.
And now it was broad daylight and Anne was knocking on the front door of
these two dodgy characters that she had seen in the back garden of this
property. I know it doesn’t make sense, because Anne was terrified by the
horror of what she thought she had witnessed in the dead of midnight, but
yet she was still curious to knock on the door of this house.
What happens next? Sorry folks, yeah I know I am a professional author,
but I like to KEEP my readers in absolute suspense and I ALWAYS finish
most of my stories unfinished or with a TWIST IN THE TALE, leaving my
readers wanting MORE.
I will give you a hint - the story is about to take a DOWNWARD SPIRAL into
the deep dark pits into the belly of hell.
