TEACHING-LEARNING ACTIVITIES

• Activation
o Start a discussion on words related to everyday life activities.
o Introduce the vocabulary exploration game with flashcards containing words (reporter, interviewer,
interviewee, reference materials, research, clubs, e-book, discussion). Distribute cards with words to pairs.
o Allow groups to create sentences using the assigned words.
o Facilitate a group discussion, emphasizing the use of vocabulary.
- Can you remember a word linked to activities at school or home?
- How did your group use words like "reporter" and "e-book" in sentences?
- Remembering our recent lessons, what's the meaning of the word ‘research’?
- The teacher can ask some other questions related to the level and interest of the
students.

• Construction
o Present a dialogue between Mell and Ignacio discussing their club activities.
o Model reported speech and its application in dialogue.
o Encourage pairs to create their dialogues using reported speech and incorporating the new vocabulary.
§ Instruct pairs or small groups to create dialogues asking to Mell and Ignacio.
§ Provide guidelines for the exercise.

Application

o Use vocabulary words to express ideas about a daily life situation.


o Emphasize the correct use of reported speech.
o The focus is on familiar and predictable conversational exchanges, providing opportunities for interaction and
skill application.
o Students will create a dialogue expressing ideas about the topic provided.
o They will use the dialogue and their group discussions as references.
o The teacher may adapt the activity based on students' progress, allowing for additional recordings or
introducing new evaluation tasks.
