Instructions for Option Registration
1. How to give options ?
Give "1" in the Option No. box against the top priority Course-College combination, "2" in the Option No. box against the next priority Course-College combination, "3" in the Option No. box against the next priority Course-College combination and so on...... The selected options will be shown at the bottom of the option page in the order of priority. A candidate can give as many options as possible in the option list shown in the candidate’s option page. A candidate need only give options to a Course-College combination if he is sure to join the Course and College, if allotted. If the same priority number is given against more than one Course-College combinations in the option list/ selected options shown at the bottom of the option page, those combinations will be arranged in the Alphabetical order of Course-College combinations. If a priority number which is already given to a Course-College combination is again given against another Course-College combination in the option list, the option selected later will occur prior to the option selected earlier. 2.How to Delete an Option from the selected option list ? Give option number "0"(Zero) against Course-College Combination. Click on Update button 3. How to Update/Rearrange an Option from the selected option list ? If the candidate wants to update the 7th Option as "5". Give option number "5" against Course-College Combination. Click on "Update" button Important: The candidate is advised to take the printout of the option worksheet/detailed option worksheet and mark the priority of options that he/she desires, before entering the options in the option page. This facility is only for rough work and for making the option entry process simple and easy. This option worksheet is not to be sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The options sent via option worksheet by Post/Fax/E-mail will not be considered. The options are to be entered online in the option page of the candidate and such options only will be processed/considered for allotments. The candidate can register new options, rearrange the options filed and delete the existing options till the cut-off date and time fixed for filing the options online. After submitting the options, the candidate can take the printout of the Option Report to verity whether the options are given in the priority order as desired by the candidate. Also the candidate is advised to keep a copy of the Option Report for future reference. After submitting the options online, the candidate should log off the system by clicking on “logout” link. The process of option entry is complete when the candidate logs off. This action is compulsory for preventing the misuse of his/her Home Page by others. The CEE or the Government shall not be responsible in the case of such events.
