Duties and Responsibilities of
Head Teacher In-Charge
1. Assist in the
evaluation, selection,
distribution and inventory
of
textbooks, materials,
supplies and equipment.
They should be able
to assist teachers in the
implementation of
administrative directives.
2. Maintain a grade level
focus on high achievement
for all students.
3. Help to administer tests,
analyze test results, and
develop strategies
for improving instruction
4. Make classroom
visitations during the
school year as deemed
necessary by the principal.
When a deficiency is noted,
they will
notify the school head.
The school head or the
assistant to the
principal validates the
existence of a deficiency.
5. Responsible for the effective
implementation of the
curriculum inside the
classroom
6. Monitor and assess academic
performance, attendance, and
behavior of
learners
7. Maintain an up-to-date
learner’s portfolio, with a
summary record of
performance to date (grade
reports, requirements
completed, etc.)
8. Responsible in checking
personal records and School
Forms of learners
such as School Form 2, 5, 9 and
10
9. Make an intervention with
learners with PARDOs and
SARDOs
10.Assists in the
implementation of career
guidance and advocacy
activities,
as well as other Learner Support

communication with parents
and guardians to address
the academic and behavioral
status of learners.
12.Inform the ASTP and School
Head of any issues and
concerns and suggest
possible solutions regarding the
grade level.

CLASSROOM TEACHER
Teachers will be responsible to the principal for carrying out policies of the school
as they relate to the function of the school, to the classroom, and to the immediate
contact with students and parents. Teachers will be expected to furnish such after school
time as is needed for assisting students, conferring with parents and doing other
necessary out of school work.
Monitor hallways, multipurpose halls (4th floor), and common areas during breaks
and transitions, ensure student safety during field trips, establish clear
expectations for behavior in non-classroom settings, intervene promptly in case of
conflicts.
Attend workshops, conferences, and online courses related to your subject area or
teaching methodology, participate in school-based professional development
sessions, actively engage in discussions and learning activities during training
sessions.
Review and adhere to school board policies and administrative regulations related
to teaching practices, student safety, grading procedures, communication with
parents, and classroom management.
I. Be Punctual
Arrive at school on time for your scheduled classes and meetings, manage your
time effectively to avoid tardiness, ensure a smooth transition between activities
to minimize disruption.

Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and effective
lesson plans aligned with standards and the school curriculum.
