ANNOUNCEMENT
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MEDICINE STUDIES IN CUBA FOR THE YEAR
2025
The Ministry has received communication from the Embassy of the Republic
of Cuba in Kenya regarding the allocation of four (4) scholarships for medical
studies in Cuba for the year 2025.

Applicant should meet the following requirements

• Minimum KCSE mean grade of B (Plain)


• Not more than 25 years of age
• Student should be from a family with low income particularly from rural
areas.
• Student should possess a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6
years.

Interested candidates are required to submit the following documents;

• The STANDARD SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM downloadable


from the Ministry of Education Website: http://www.education.go.ke/.
That should be dully filled;
• Certified High school certificate;
• Original medical test certificates, including HIV, TB and pregnancy
tests for female applicants;
• Original certificate of good conduct;
• 10 passport sized photographs sized 1X1 cm;
• A Personal letter requesting for the scholarship;
• Signed Code of Ethics for foreign students (to be picked at Teleposta
Towers Room 2701);
• A letter confirming the student’s commitment to pay for the air ticket to
and from Cuba;
• Photocopy of the passport biodata page;
• Birth certificate with a translated copy in Spanish;
• Scholarship award certificate specifying the degree program, signed and
stamped by the Cuban diplomatic representation accredited in the
country and, by the student.

All the above-mentioned documents to be legalized by the Ministries of


Education, Health and Foreign and Diaspora Affairs as appropriate.
