Chapter 4 Revised
Chapter 4 Revised
In this chapter, the researchers analyzed and interpreted the data that has been collected
from the selected respondents. The said data were presented tabular form in accordance with
questions posted in the statement of the problem for a faster understanding of the readers.
The table above shows the Strand profile of grade 11 students with a strand of Home
Communication Technology at Next Generation Technological College. Along with that, the
majority of the respondents are from ICT strand with 34.14% and minority of the respondent
came from the strand ABM with 2.46%. On the other hand, DepEd stated that majority of the
students on senior high school are taking TVL strand with a 54.25% while ABM strand only
The table above shows the age profile of grade 11 students that is taking the course HE,
ICT, IA and ABM at Next Generation Technological College. The table displays the majority of
the respondents are 16 years old with a percentage of 45.48% while the minority of the
respondents are 15 years old with a percentage of 4.89%.
MALE 54 34.37%
FEMALE 28 65.63%
TOTALE 82 100%
The table above shows the Gender Profile among the Grade 11 respondents. The table
displays 34.37% for the female minority respondents along with the 65.63% for the male
majority respondents that leads to 100% of the gender profile among grade 11 participants.

TABLE 7.0: Pearson’s correlation coefficient result
The table above shows Pearson’s correlation coefficient result of the data gathered from the
participants with the usage of Technology Integration along with the Academic Performance of
the students. The computation also used the 82 respondents among the grade 11 students at Next
Generation Technological College to reach the 95% level of confidence and 5% margin of error.
On the other hand, the Pearson Correlation Coefficient (r) is -0.38 which leads to a Medium
Positive Relationship based on the Rule of Thumb and the P-Value or the Significance f is
0.000446 which state the significant relationship according to the Research Advisors 2006.
These findings suggest that there is a significant relationship between Technology Integration
and Academic Performance. The results of the study also correlate to the study of Rizada and
Rey (2023) which summarizes and shows that technology has a relationship in terms of academic
performance of college millennial learners on the subject mathematics (Rizada & Rey, 2023). In
addition to the following results, the study of Al-Bataineh, Harris, and Mohammed (2016) also
shows that technology integration gives a positive result in terms of student’s academic
performance and motivation compared to the traditional teaching. (Al-Bataineh; Harris; &
Mohammed, 2016).
