on the clock, MC was called for interference. A short time
later Tristan Powell was called for interference and then for
unsportsmanlike conduct. This gave Miles City a 4 minute
power play. With only 34 short seconds into the power play,
the Generals scored taking the lead 2-3. After that goal, the
power play dropped to 2 minutes. 27 seconds later, Jack
Miller was called for interference. With 2 Ice Dawgs in the
sin bin, the 3 skaters on the ice had to play strategic defense
until Powell and Miller served their 2 minutes. Glasgow
held off MC in the power play. But it wasn’t long until MC’s
Lang scored again with 1:05 left in the 2nd period. With :06
showing on the clock, Charlie Cornwell assisted by Mason
Hunter scored ending the period with a score of 3-4 going
into intermission.
The 3rd period was a defensive period. With 6
minutes into the 3rd, Mile City’s Lucas Hogan was called
for tripping. It took a while for any team to do anything
offensively, but with 1:13 left in the game, Tavin Boland tied
the game 4-4 with his unassisted goal. But unfortunately
that was not enough to hold off MC to go to overtime. Miles
City answered back 34 seconds later with the game winning
goal to end the game with a score of 4-5.
Glasgow’s goalie Kolten Hansen was in the net and
saw 50 shots, saving 45, giving him an 87% save percentage
for the game. Glasgow shot 48 times on Mile City’s goalie.
Saturday morning’s game was all Glasgow! The first
period started off with Miles City’s Liam Lancaster scoring
first with their only goal with 10:14 on the clock. Penalties
followed for the rest of the period. First was Glasgow’s
Reilly Llewellyn for tripping, then Aiden Price for slashing.

was called for interference leaving Glasgow shorthanded to
start the 2nd.
