ll.

Interview a certain head of an organization/company and ask him/her the

following questions.
INTERVIEWEE; Melrose Cahoy, worker at CF FREIGHT CORPORATION
LERA; What is the culture of your organization?
MELROSE; My organization's culture is based on accessibility, creativity, and
teamwork. We place a high value on cooperation and truthful communication, making
sure that each participant can share their thoughts and has a voice. Additionally
important are flexibility and ongoing learning, as we support individuals in taking on new
challenges and developing both personally and professionally. Our culture is greatly
influenced by ethical leadership, which upholds justice, honesty, and responsibility in all
that we do. In general, we want to establish a constructive and upbeat atmosphere
where people feel appreciated, inspired, and equipped to contribute significantly.

LERA; Do you think cultures can be created? Modified? Or changed?

MELROSE; Indeed, depending on leadership, ideals, and outside factors,
organizational cultures can be formed, altered, and transformed over time. The founders
and leaders of a new organization create its culture by establishing norms, beliefs, and
conduct that members must adhere to. Culture can be changed over time to
accommodate shifts in industry trends, technology, or society, keeping the company
successful and relevant. Even though it can be difficult, strong leadership, transparent
communication, and constant reinforcement of new beliefs and practices can help
change an existing culture. In the end, a company can develop, succeed, and provide
superior services to its stakeholders and members by having a responsive and
adaptable culture.

NOTE; The interviewee's responses were in Bisaya and translated into English.
II. In the school you were enrolled in, what is the prevailing organizational
culture? What are some of the practices that you observe?
The dominant organizational culture at Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City,
Bukidnon, is focused on community service, discipline, and academic performance. The
institution upholds high standards for instruction and moral conduct, which creates a
strong feeling of responsibility among students, teachers, and staff. Strict adherence to
academic integrity, which guarantees that instructors and students adhere to moral
principles in their coursework, research, and exams, is one typical practice. Students'
behavior, from adhering to dress codes to respecting authority figures and university
regulations, also displays professionalism and discipline. Furthermore, BukSU promotes
student participation through a number of groups, including our organization the BukSU
JPIA, which offers chances for academic competitions, community service, and
leadership development.
In addition, the university nurtures a culture of cooperation in which students,
instructors, and administrators work together to accomplish shared objectives; a number
of student-led projects, including volunteer work and environmental sustainability
programs, demonstrate the school's dedication to social responsibility; faculty members
are committed to mentoring students, supporting an environment where learning goes
beyond the classroom and into practical applications; and the institution regularly hosts
seminars, trainings, and events that assist students in improving their critical thinking,
leadership, and professional development. All things considered, Bukidnon State
University builds a comprehensive and values-driven culture that equips students for
achievements in the future.
