Extracurricular Activity: “Animal Explorers Club”

Topic: Animals

Objective: Help students learn and use English vocabulary related to animals through
interactive and engaging activities.

Activity Overview:

“Animal Explorers Club” is a fun, hands-on extracurricular program where students explore
the animal kingdom while practicing English. Through games, crafts, and storytelling, they
will expand their vocabulary and develop communication skills in a creative and enjoyable
way.

Structure & Activities:

1. Guess the Animal (Warm-Up Game)

• Objective: Reinforce animal-related vocabulary and descriptions.

• How to Play:

• One student picks an animal card (e.g., lion, elephant, penguin) without showing it.

• They describe the animal (e.g., “I have four legs and a mane.”) while others guess.

2. Animal Safari (Interactive Learning & Role-Play)

• Objective: Help students use descriptive adjectives and action verbs.

• How to Play:

• The teacher describes different habitats (e.g., jungle, ocean, farm).

• Students pretend to be different animals, making sounds and acting them out.

3. Craft & Create: “My Favorite Animal”
