PRACTICAL NO: 1

Aim: VMware Workstation with different flavours of Linux . Steps –


1. To Install Linux on VMWare workstation , first we need a physical machine, VMWare
workstation Pro and Linux ISO Image.

2. Download the VMWare Workstation application for your host operating System and Install it
on your Machine.

3. Open the Application after Installation and create a new Virtual Machine

4. Select Typical and Click on Next Give the ISO file path and Click on Next
5. Give the Full Name and Username and Password for Futher Installation and Click on Next.

6. Give your Virtual Machine a Name and Location And Click on Next.
7. Set Maximum Disk Size Based On requirement. And Click on Next.

8. Now the Virtual Machine is ready


9. Now Click on Power On this Virtual Machine Option and Start the VM

Ubuntu Is getting Ready.


10. Now Install Now Select keyboard Layout – English US.

11. Updates and Other Software – Select Normal Installation, Other Options, Install Third
Party Software and Continue

12. Installation Type – Select Erase Disk and Install Ubuntu Continue.
Click on Continue.

13. Select the Where are you? As Mumbai.

14. Now Give your Name ,Computer’s Name, Pick a Username, Password and Confirm
your Password
Continue
15. Now Login to you Ubuntu. And it will take you to the Ubuntu.

RESULT: Thus to install VMware workstation with different flavours of Linux is done
successfully.
PRACTICAL NO: 2

AIM: Run C Program in Virtual Machine Using Linux OS.

Steps

1. Open Text Editor in Linux and Type Hello World Code and Save that File in .c format.

2. Open terminal and check the path where the Hello World Code File is saved.
3. Enter the Following Command:
sudo apt-get install gcc.

4. To run the Hello World Write the Following Command


gcc -o hello hello.c
./hello
Here you will get the Hello World. Output.

RESULT: Thus the simple C programs executed successfully.


PRACTICAL NO: 3

Aim: Implementation XEN Server using Virtualization.

Steps:

1.Create an new virtual machine.

2.Browse the xenserver file.


3.Select operating system as Linux and version Ubuntu 64-bit.

4.Give name as Xen server.

5.Give the Maximum Disk Capacity gb up to 100 and click on next -> then finish
6.Power on the machine

7. Select the option “us”

8.Select option “accept EUA”


9.ENTER the following option and then click ok .

10.Select “local media” and enter


11. Select the option “skip verification” and enter.

12.Give password as :1234567

13.Select DHCP option click enter and then click on ok option


14.Select option “asia” and enter

15. Select Kolkata option and enter


16.Select “use DHCP NTP SERVERS” option and enter

17. Select option “install xenserver” and enter. And installation will take place .
Same steps as 16.

18. Ping the server in cmd by given following ping by
system.For example: ping 192.168.28.129

AIM: Implementation of cloud operating system using Microsoft Silverlight.

Steps:

1. Install Microsoft
Silverlight.2: Click on
Install now

3: Click on Next Button.


4: Installation Successful..

5: Go to Internet Explorer-> write in URL ->www.silveos.com

Create Resume Using Google Docs


Here are the steps to help you create a resume using Google Docs:
1. Open Google Docs:
Go to the Google Docs website (docs.google.com) and sign in to your Google account if
you're not already logged in.

2. Choose a Resume Template:


Click on the "Template Gallery" button located at the top right corner of the screen (it looks
like a square grid). This will open the template gallery.

3. Search for Resume Templates:


In the search bar at the top, type "resume" or "CV" to find templates specifically designed for
resumes. You can also browse through the templates to find one that suits your style.
4. Select a Template:
Click on a resume template that you like to open it.

5. Customize Your Resume:


 Replace the placeholder text in the template with your own information. Common
sections to include in a resume are:
 Contact Information: Your name, phone number, email address, and LinkedIn profile (if
applicable).
 Summary or Objective: A brief statement about your career goals or a summary of your
skills and experience.
 Work Experience: List your previous work experience, including job titles, company
names, dates of employment, and job descriptions.
 Education: Include details about your educational background, such as the name of the
institution, degree earned, and graduation date.
 Skills: Highlight your relevant skills and qualifications.
 Achievements: Mention any awards, certifications, or achievements.
 References: You can either include references directly or state that they are available
upon request.

6. Formatting and Styling:


 Customize the fonts, colors, and formatting to match your preferences. You can
change the font style, size, and formatting using the toolbar at the top.
7. Add or Remove Sections:
 Modify the template to include or exclude sections as needed. For example, you can
add a "Projects" section or remove a section that's not relevant to your resume.

8. Save Your Resume:


Click "File" in the upper left corner, then select "Make a copy." This will create a copy of the
template in your Google Drive that you can edit further. Give it a name you'll remember, such
as "My Resume."
9. Download Your Resume:
To save your resume as a file that you can send or print, go to "File" again and select
"Download." Choose the file format you prefer (e.g., PDF, Word, or other formats).

10.Share Your Resume:


Share your resume directly from Google Docs by clicking the "Share" button in the upper right
corner. You can choose to share it with specific individuals or generate a shareable link.
PRACTICAL NO: 6

AIM: Implement Open Nebula.

Step

1. Open Vitrual Box and Click on Import.

2. Now Add the Open Nebula File Path.


3. After Adding Open Nebula Click on Next.

4. Set the RAM as 4090 MB and Click On Finish


5. OpenNebula Is Ready for use Now Click on Start

6.Provide the localhost address e.g. localhost:9869 Write user name as root and
password asopen nebula.
7. Go to Chrome Browser and Type localhost:9869.

8. Go to instances and Click on VMs and Click on + Icon

9. Now the Create Virtual Machine tab will be open. Add the VM Name.

VMs Is added the Owner is oneadmin and Name of Vms – Max and Status is Running.
PRACTICAL NO: 7

AIM: Create a Private Cloud in Eucalyptus

Steps

1 . Open Vmware Workstation Create New VM Select the Iso File of Eucalyptus.

2. Select the Guest Operation System Linux Version CentOS 6 Next.


3. Give Virtual Machine Name and Location to Save the VM Next.

4. Give the Specify Disk Capacity 100 GB Next.


5. Click on Customize Hardware Set the Memory RAM – 4094 Mb.
6. Click On Processors Give Number of Processors & Number of Cores Per Proccessor
2. And Tick Mark Virtualization Engine Option Virtualize Intet VT-x/Ept or AMD-v/RVI
&Virtualize CPU Performance Counters CLOSE.

Now the VM is ready for use.


7.After Click on Power On Select the CentOS 6 With Eucalyptus Frontend Enter.

8. Click on OK. The Eucalyptus will be Displayed Click on Next Option.


9. Click the Language English Next.
10. Select Appropriate Keyboard US- English Next.

11. Choose the Option Yes discard any data..


12. Give the Hostname and Set the Network Interface eth0 and Mode DHCP Next.

13. Select the city Kolkata Asia Next.


14. Give Root Password Confirm Password Next.

password is 123456

15. Set the Public IP range Next.


16. Select the Use All Space Next.

Eucalyptus is ready to start.


17. Create User Username Full Name Password Confirm Password Next.

18. Click on Forward.


19. Click on the Finish Option.
Steps

1 .Login with Username and Password.

This is the Eucalyptus.


PRACTICAL NO: 8

Aim: Implement VMware ESXi server.

Steps
1. Create new virtual machine.

2. Browse the file of ESXI .


3. Give Specify Disk Capacity GB as 100

4. Processors should be 4 and memory 4 gb.


5. Click on Finish.

6. Vmware EXSI is Loaded Successfully.


7. Click on Enter.

8. Click on Accept and Continue.


9. Select the Disk Capacity Next.

10. Select the keyboard layout US default Enter.

11. Give the Root Password Confirm Password Enter.


12. Confirm Install Install.
13. Installation Complete Enter(reboot).
14. Run the following command on cmd: ping ip_address
ping 192.168.28.128.

AIM: Install Google App Engine Create Hello World and Simple Application using python.

Step

1 .Install Google Cloud Sdk Tick both option Next.

2. Click on I Agree.
3. Click on for All USER Next.

4. Give The Destination Folder Next.


5. Tick all the Option Install.

6. Create a folder CC.

PRACTICAL NO: 10

AIM: Use google app engine launcher to launch the web application using Servers.

Hello World" Java application on Google App

EngineStep

1. We have open the Google SDK Shell


--- Type this command
-> gcloud components install app-engine-java

2. And click enter to start the installation process wait for it to install.

If it is installed perfect the output will like this

3. Now we must install eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java and Web Developer.

Open Eclipse Installer


4. We have to select IDE for Enterprise Java and Web Developer.

5. Now click on it and intsall in the proper path. Make sure the jdk is installed
6. After Installation The application We look like this where eclipse web will
mentionedNow we have install google cloud tools
7. For that click on Help->Eclipse Marketplace

8. Search for Google Select Google Cloud Tool Install Option


Since it is installed on my system it is showing Installed Now for new users it will show checkbox
afterclicking on install select that option and confirm installation

9. Then click on confirm. Once it is installed restart the eclipse

10. Now open eclipse web developers It show the icon of google cloud tool Something
Link this intoolbar.

Well if everything goes right we will get this icon.

Now we have to set the preference for cloud tool. Make sure you don’t skip the first
step.Click on Window Preferences
11. Click on Google Cloud Tools and Tick the choose SDK and add the path of Google cloud Sdk path.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Cloud SDK\google-cloud-sdk


Click on Apply Then Apply and Close it will take few seconds to load for first installation.

12. Now click on Google Cloud tool icon Create New Project Google app Engine
Standard JavaProject.
13. Now give the Project Name and Java Package Name as Hello World/Your Name.

Don’t Click on Finish Click on Next


14. Tick on App Engine API FINSH.

Well It will take time to install the Required Libraries


If this error occur No Worries

16. Now go to this file Hello App Engine


17. Now to solve this error Right click on Project folder Follow this steps

18. This will open Click on Libraries and Select JRE System Library and Edit.
19. Install JRE for this step and Make sure it path is mentioned
Click on Alternate JRE and Finish

And Click on Apply Apply and close.

20. Once and Click on Properties of Project and Click on Server.


21. Click on App Engine Standard at localhost Apply Apply and Close.
Now we have give access to JRE

click on installed Jres Next

Then Click on Finish.


22. Tick on Jre Option Apply Apply and Close.

23. Go to Windows Preferences Server Drop Down Runtime Environment Add New
25. Select Apache Apache Tomcat v9.0 Next .

26. Add the Apace Tomcat 9.0 Finsh.


27. Rigth Click on Project Run As Run on Server Add Manually Define a New Server Click
Apache Tomcat v9.0 Server Give Server’s Host Name Server Name Finish.
