Annexure-2

These are the rules to be followed for the event:


1. Uniform & Identification

 Learners must wear their school uniform and identity card.

 Coordinating staff should share their contact number with Mrs. Rajeswari for easier
coordination.

2. Event-Specific Attire

 Mime and Group Dance participants can wear suitable attire.

3. Teams will not be allowed to participate, without submitting the original entry forms.

4. Entry confirmation is accepted through the Mail and WhatsApp only.

5. The school team must be accompanied by Teacher in-charge. Parents are not allowed.

6. Participant schools should make their own mode of transport arrangements.

7. Participants should not litter the Campus.

8. Any breakage of school property has to be compensated.

9. Students are not permitted to bring Mobile Phones/Cameras/Tabs.

10. Best Out of Waste

 Participants must bring their own materials (no edible items).

 Judging criteria: creativity, usefulness, and presentation.

11. Painting Events

 For Normal Painting, Pot Painting, and Canvas Painting, participants should bring their own
materials (chart paper, pots, or canvas).

 No reference materials allowed.

12. Shipwreck

 Scenarios will be given on the spot.

 Judging is based on participants' ability to handle the situation.

13. Essay & Oratorical Competitions

 No reference materials or gadgets allowed.


14. Ad Zap
 A team of 5 participants gets 5 minutes to plan and 2 minutes to perform.

 The product will be given by the judge on the spot.

 One team member must answer the judge’s questions convincingly.

15. Medley

 Participants must mash up at least 3 songs with instruments.

 Time limits must be followed.

16. Channel Surfing

 Practice only on channels listed in Annexure-3.

 3 minutes for the performance.

 Must be creative, innovative, and spontaneous.

17. Cook without Fire

 60 minutes allotted.

 Cutting of vegetables and fruits on the spot.

 Milk and milk products can be used.

 No ready-made items allowed (except bread, biscuits, chocolates, tinned, boiled, and raw
vegetables).

 One vegetable craft can be made for extra points.

 Participants must bring their own presentation cutlery.

 Heating methods are not permitted.

 Workstations must be cleaned after use.

18. Group Dance

 Teams must consist of 6 participants.

 Performance duration: 3 to 4 minutes.

 Submit music track at least 2 days before the event, with a backup USB copy.

 Music must be pre-edited; no live music or DJs.


 Costumes must be appropriate, and props are allowed.

 Teams are responsible for setting up and removing props.

 No dangerous items (fire, sharp objects) are allowed.

 Teams must be present 1 hour before performance.

 No rehearsals on the main stage.

Disqualification Grounds

 Using inappropriate music, costumes, or gestures.

 Disrespecting organizers or teams.

 Exceeding the time limit without permission.

Judging Criteria

 Choreography (creativity, synchronization, formations): 30%

 Costumes and Props: 10%

 Execution (energy, expressions, stage presence): 30%

 Overall Impact (audience engagement, uniqueness): 20%

 Adherence to Theme (if any): 10%

19. Mime

 Teams consist of 6 to 8 participants.

 Performance duration: 3 to 5 minutes.

 Teams must follow the given theme.

 No spoken words, music, or sound effects during the act; only gestures and body language
are allowed.

 Face paint and simple costumes can be used; minimal props allowed (e.g., stick, hat, mask).

 Props must not make sound or disturb the flow.

Judging Criteria
 Acting and Expression (clarity, facial expressions, movements): 40%

 Creativity (originality, innovative ideas): 20%

 Storytelling and Message: 20%

 Stage Presence: 10%

 Costumes and Makeup: 10%

 The judges' decision is final and binding.

20. Essay writing

 Out of 10
 Relevance - 4
 Grammar and punctuation - 3
 Presentation - 2

21. Oratorical

 Out of 10
 Relevance - 4
 Fluency - 2
 Body language - 2
 Time taken - 2
