In this manual, we will show you how to make an Agar plate using
homemade materials.
Materials
1 beef bouillon cube
2 teaspoons (8 g) of sugar
Procedure
I. Making and Sterilizing an Agar
Medium
1. Heat a beaker and Petri dishes in a 350 °F (177 °C) oven for 2 to 3
hours.
3. Flip the Petri dishes and wipe the beaker's mouth with an alcohol
wipe.
4. Pour 1⁄4 in (0.64 cm) of medium into each dish and set the lids on.
