SAPOSCOL How Sap R3 Communicates With OS

SAPOSCOL is a program developed by SAP that allows an SAP R/3 instance to communicate with the underlying operating system. It collects operating system information like CPU usage, memory usage, disk activity, and network information. The SAPOSCOL program must be started before the SAP R/3 instance so it can provide OS data to R/3. Administrators can use commands like saposcol and saposcol -s to start, check the status, and stop the SAPOSCOL process.
