Wide Format Operator

Position Summary
As a wide format operator, you will play a critical role in our production process, responsible for
operating and maintaining various printing and finishing equipment to ensure the efficient and
accurate completion of print finishing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail,
strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing top-notch work in a fast-paced
environment. This position reports to the production manager.

Role & Responsibilities


• Set up, calibrate, and operate advanced printing and finishing equipment, including Fuji
Acuity, HP570, and Zund flatbed cutting systems, to meet production specifications.
• Continuously monitor production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and
perform adjustments to maintain consistency and precision.
• Conduct routine maintenance and timely troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime
and maintain optimal equipment performance.
• Inspect finished products for defects and inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments to
maintain quality standards
• Collaborate proactively with team members to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently,
ensuring all production deadlines are met.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work environment, adhering to best practices for workplace
safety and efficiency.
• Strictly comply with all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements,
fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience operating wide format equipment in a printing or manufacturing
environment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and quality
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
This is a production environment position that may require the ability to work flex hours to meet
company needs and schedule requirements. While performing the duties of this job, employee is
occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles, toxic or caustic
chemicals, loud noises, and vibration. Employees in this position may be advised or required to
utilize personal protective equipment including but not limited to: ear protection, eye protection, foot
protection, lifting equipment, and protective smocks.

Physical requirements include walking, standing, sitting and must have the ability to lift
approximately 50 pounds.
