As we step into the new academic session with our eyes set at the zenith of success and glory,
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all my successful learners and express my
sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks for our ever supportive parents, who kept pace with
the school and extended full cooperation.
Before we embark into the new academic session 2024-2025, please make a note of the
following points.
On August 17th all new admissions for the academic year will receive an induction from the
concerned grade coordinator, class rep and the head of School
Timing 9:30 am - 12: 00pm.
The school timlng for this academic year is 8:30 am to 2:40pm. The last bell for dispersal will
ring at 2:40pm.
4. MORNING ARRIVALS
L Avoiding parents/ vendors/ visitors entering the school at any time or without
permission.
il Avoiding parking of vehicles of parents, guests or visitors/vendors inside the school.
Avoiding students to be inside the school beyond 3:30pm except certain grades who
would be having classes till 4:00pm.
IV Making it compulsory for parents/escorts to adhere to the dispersal timings and pick
up the child on time.
Any parent / escort picking up the ward after 3:30pm will have to collect the ward
coordinating with the front office receptionist and also will have to pay a fee for late
pickup (Ghc.100.00). Our school guards and receptionist will be available to assist you
with the same.
Note: school main gate will close for parents at 3:30pm
We humbly request our parents to help us enforce punctuality in our students.
DISPERSAL TIME
Looking forward to your support to maintain tardiness and discipline in school. This perpetual
challenge can only be attained with your help and support.
We urge all parents to be responsible and respectful of the school's guidelines regarding
student dispersal.
Students will be given the school almanac within the first two days of reopening. Please note
that it is mandatory for students to carry the almanac to school daily. The almanac contains
all important information, including holidays, vacation dates, examination schedule and also it
is an important channel of communication between the school and the parents. Teachers can
give their remarks in the school almanac, the parent can also use it to communicate to the
class teacher or the subject teacher.
The revised school fees circular for the academic year was distributed on June 29th on the
open day. However, the same is attached to the circular for your perusal. Please note that
from this year, strictly all fees paid after grace periods (which is clearly mentioned in the
circular), will attract a penalty as per the school policy.
Please note that from grade cr6che to 9 fees is to be paid in 3 term instalments and for 10, AS
and A Level, the fee is to be paid in 2 term instalments as mentioned in the fee circular
attach ed.
Please note that transport fees is only taken for 11 months irrespective of the number of
days, the student has availed transport for. Transport fee can be paid monthly or for each
term in advance.
However, it is important that monthly fee must be paid between the 25th and 31't of the
previous month to avail the service for the following month. Kindly refer to the school
transport policy in the almanac for details.
Please note that the fee counter will be open from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm and
on Saturday 10:00am to 1:00pm only.
11. AFTER SCHOOL TUESDAY AND THURSDAY ACTIVITIES AND SATURDAY ACTIVITIES
' The school conducts after school activities for which they are charged an after school
activities fee. These activities are conducted on the basis of 3 terms. The details along with
the fee will be informed to you in the first week after the school reopefls. The after school
activities for the academic year will begin from September.
12. EXTENSION OF SCHOOL TIMING FOR 10 AND A LEVEL.
Both L0 and A Level are board candidate classes. Hence, the school has decided to give them
complete support with respect to the completion of syllabus on time, continuous assessment
of their progress and thorough revision. As time is the factor which helps us to give proper
attention to these details, we have decided to extend their school timing from Monday to
Thursday till 4:00pm.
And for the As Levels, on Tuesdays and Thursdays till 4:00pm. lt is mandatory that all students
understand the change in their school timing and adhere to it.
Students falling short of attendance (minimum 75%) will not be eligible for the board exams.
School Bus facility is provided to the bus students only.
The school has decided on a zero tolerance policy for using mobiles in school, wearing
unauthorized uniforms, ragging, bullylng, cyber-attack or indisciplinary issues. For details
of our stringent measures and guidelines, refer to the almanac pages (25 30). -
The school has appointed 2 counsellors, one for the university admission and career
counselling as well as social, mental and emotional counselling. The career counsellor is
available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am - 4:00pm. The psychological counsellor is
available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 - 2:30pm. Prior appointment must be taken
with the grade coordinators, or class teachers so that an appointment can be fixed for your
ward or yourself.
15. ORIENTATION SESSION FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR WITH THE PRINCIPAL AND TEAM.
XVII. All appointments will be handled outside teaching time only. Times of meetings
should be agreed beforehand and these should be respected.
xvilt. All stakeholders must speak to each other with respect. Aggressive tones or
demeanours, verbal abuse, threats or intimidation are not acceptable.
XIX. Under no circumstance can parent or visitor directly approach a pupil during school
hou rs.
XX. Occasions occur when a parent needs to speak to a staff member urgently. Sometime
these meetings need to take place without prior notice. The Principal will aim to
facilitate such meetings.
XXI. Any matter which cannot be resolved by the class teacher or grade coordinator can be
immediately directed to the Principal via mail. All mails to the Principal will be
attended within 24hours or 4Shours in some cases.
