National Guard Dress Code (1)
By: LT. General Rein Deer & Major General Mark Cash
Introduction
This document is used to outline to the National Guard Employees what they should be wearing
during active service. When on duty, all National Guard Personnel are to follow this Dress Code
at all times. The document will start from lower ranks and work up. Special Units such as SASD,
Recruitment Representatives, Military Police or Combat Response Medics will have their own
dress code so will ignore the ranking system.
Berets, Officers hats, Pilot Helmets and the final 4 helmets in the Headwear section are off limits
unless stated otherwise. They are for Special Forces and Pilots only.
