TASK 2.1: Convenience foods will become increasingly prevalent and eventually replace
traditional foods and traditional methods of food preparation. To what extent do you agree or
disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples
from your own knowledge or experience
Write at least 250 words.

There is a growing argument that convenience foods will become ubiquitous and eventually
displacing traditional foods as well as conventional food preparation methods. I absolutely
support this concept, and I believe it is far more beneficial than we realize.

To begin with, as the rate of attendance at work and in school systems rises, the demand for
readily available meals becomes more critical than ever. Providing it is easy to carry, long-
lasting, and comes with other convenient features. No doubt that it would take each
individuals less time to spent in the kitchen, preparing the meal, fewer leftovers and easy to
clean up. In this way, people can concentrate on other aspects of their lives while still saves
time and effort.

The second benefit that the flavor suits almost every consumer's palate, especially their sense
of taste. It is definately true for those who are lazy and don't really want to cook; therefore,
convenience products are the best optional choice. Despite the fact that convenience foods are
not really considered nutritional, it is still likely to be healthier than most fast foods on
average.

Apart from all the aforementioned, planning convenience foods pays little attention. For
example, during peak hours or overtime shifts, the idea of planning a meal is exhausting
enough let alone making one. For this reason, people may turn to convenience foods instead.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that convenience foods will become increasingly prevalent in
the near future. Although traditional foods and traditional methods still recommended, but
overall the advantages of this viewpoint is really beneficial.

TASK 2.2: Some people believe that reading stories from a book is better than watching TV
or playing computer games for children. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is evident that a book is one of the most crucial things in a human lives. Many people
believe that reading stories from a book is superior to watching television or playing
computer games for children. I totally agree with this view for a number of reasons.
First and foremost, reading books helps one to acquire a wealth of knowledge that will later
prove useful. For example, learning from books can enrich our life style, as well as acquiring
many valuable experiences. It is undeniable that in a society with no books, knowledge would
slowly deteriorate into backwardness. Thus without our ancestor message and culture
traditions passing down through generation, humanity might even revert back to the stone age.
For this reason shown how crucial books are to each individual.

Second of all, reading story books is also superior to playing computer games. It is
particularly true that video games and television are very entertaining and can helps with
release stress-related problems. However, when people read books like novels or magazines,
their mind will reconstruct and reorganize the information and knowledge inside the books. In
this way, a child can enhance the creativity and imagination as well as innovation thinking.
Moreover, story book reading is conclude with various of educational benefits, one of which
is the cultivation of emotions, thereby develop children feeling of love in life.

In conclusion, I strongly believe books are the most superior in comparison to television and
computer games. Even though it is mostly not very favour by children, it is still necessary and
should not be neglected.
