Mesh-4: Contains 4 Ω,3 Ω,5 Ω, and 10Ω resistors.
Current of Mesh-1 is equals to clockwise current through 20V Voltage Source and 4Ω resistor as the
components are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-1 is 1.530A
Current of Mesh-2 is equals to clockwise current through 2Ω resistor and 3Ω resistor as these resistors
are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-2 is 0.94293A
Current of Mesh-3 is equals to clockwise current through 2Ω as the resistor are not common with other
meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-3 is 1.042A
Current of Mesh-4 is equals to clockwise current through 3Ω resistor as the resistor are not common with

common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-2 is 1.867A
Current of Mesh-3 is equals to clockwise current through 6Ohm resistor as the resistor are not common
with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-3 is 0.46667A

components are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-1 is 1A

So, Current of Mesh-1 is 0.38295A
Current of Mesh-2 is equals to clockwise current through 10V Voltage Source and 2Ω resistor as these
components are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-2 is 0.94293A
Current of Mesh-3 is equals to clockwise current through 12V Voltage Source and 3Ω resistor as these
components are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-3 is -0.48777A [current actually following Counter Clockwise]

Current of Mesh-4 is equals to clockwise current through 4Ω resistor as the resistor are not common with
other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-4 is -0.71838A [current actually following Counter Clockwise]
We need to calculate the current of Mesh-5 as every components are common with other mesh. So, we
will calculate the mesh current of mesh-5 with the help of 3Ω resistor in the mesh. 3Ω resistor share
meshes with Mesh-4 and Mesh-5. And current flow through it in the same direction as mesh-4 current
and opposite direction of mesh-5 current. So, we can denote that,
𝐼4 − 𝐼5 = 1.268𝐴
Or, 𝐼5 = 𝐼4 − 1.268
So, 𝐼5 = −0.71838 − 1.268 = −1.98638𝐴
So, Current of Mesh-5 is -1.98638A[current following Counter Clockwise]

Diagram: Circuit-5
In circuit-5, there are 5 meshes [Clockwise]. Considering
Mesh-1: Contains a 24V voltage source, 50Ω, 40Ω, and 80Ω resistors.
Mesh-2: Contains 40Ω 30Ω, and 10Ω resistors.
Mesh-3: Contains 12V Voltage Source and 30Ω, 20Ω resistors.
Mesh-4: Contains 10V Voltage Source and 10Ω, 80Ω resistors.
Mesh-5: Contains 10V Voltage Source and 60 Ω, and 20Ω resistors.
Current of Mesh-1 is equals to clockwise current 24V Voltage Source and 50Ω resistor as these
components are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-1 is 0.44229A
Current of Mesh-3 is equals to clockwise current through 12V Voltage Source as that voltage source is
not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-3 is -0.17429A [current actually following Counter Clockwise]
To determine Current of Mesh-2 we need to calculate from certain common component for Mesh-2, In
this case we will work with the common 30Ω resistor between Mesh-2 and Mesh-3,
So,
𝐶𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 30𝛺 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟 = 𝑖2 – 𝑖3 [as current of mesh-3 opposes]
0.39619 = 𝑖2 + 0.17429
𝑖2 = 0.2219𝐴
So, Current of Mesh-2 is 0.2219A

To determine Current of Mesh-4 we need to calculate from certain common component for Mesh-4, In
this case we will work with the common 10Ω resistor between Mesh-2 and Mesh-4,
So,
𝐶𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 10𝛺 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟 = 𝑖4 – 𝑖2 [as current of mesh-2 opposes]
0.30701 = 𝑖4 − 0.2219
𝑖2 = 0.52891𝐴
So, Current of Mesh-4 is 0.52891A

Current of Mesh-5 is equals to clockwise current through 60Ω resistor as the resistor are not common
with other meshes.

Mesh-4: Contains 4V Voltage Source and 4Ω, 1Ω resistors.
Current of Mesh-1 is equals to clockwise current 8V Voltage Source and 5Ω resistor as these components
are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-1 is 0.7273A

To determine Current of Mesh-2 we need to calculate from certain common component for Mesh-2, In
this case we will work with the common 2Ω resistor between Mesh-2 and Mesh-1,
So,
𝐶𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 2𝛺 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟 = 𝑖1 – 𝑖2 [as current of mesh-2 opposes]
2.068 = 𝑖1 − 𝑖2
𝑖2 = 𝑖1 − 2.068
𝑖2 = −1.3407𝐴
So, Current of Mesh-2 is -1.3407A[negative because current flowing counter-clockwise)

So, Current of Mesh-2 is 1.094A
Current of Mesh-3 is equals to clockwise current through 2V Voltage Source and 1Ω resistor as the
components are not common with other meshes.
So, Current of Mesh-3 is 1.243A
Current of Mesh-4 is equals to clockwise current through 3V Voltage Source and 1Ω resistor as the
