Your facilitator or assessor shall make the following available for this practical demonstration.
 Monitor
 Keyboard

 Power supply
 VGA Cable
 Network Cable and 2 other peripheral Device
 Desk
 Chair
 Manufacturer’s manual

The aim of this practical task is to demonstrate how to set-up a workstation.

Using the above resources, demonstrate the following in the presence of the facilitator or assessor:
I. Set-up a computer work station taking into account the following:
 Lighting
 VDU position
 Seating position
 Use of input devices (e.g. keyboard, mouse)
II. Set-up a computer work station taking into account health and safety issues.

NOTE
 As you demonstrate the above activities, the facilitator or assessor will be completing the
observation checklist attached.
